Lavanya Vijayasingham with experience working in the fields of chronic illness, gender equality, health financing & access. Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at 25, Lavanya’s coping and career journeys converged through a PhD program to study the work lives of people living with chronic health conditions. Some portions of this article were presented as an abstract at the Academy of Management Conference 2017
